The 2019 Cairo mayoral election took place on April 2, 2019, to elect the Mayor of Cairo, Illinois. The election was held concurrently with elections to City Council Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.[1]

The election is officially nonpartisan. Incumbent mayor Tyrone Coleman was defeated in a 4-way race by Thomas Simpson.
