Costas Soukoulis is a chief editor for the peer reviewed scientific journal Photonics and Nanostructures - Fundamentals and Applications. He is also a fellow of the American Physical Society, Optical Society of America, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Career

He is currently a Professor at Iowa State University and Ames Laboratory. Professor Soukoulis has held these positions sonce 1984. Also since 1984 he has been an associated researcher in the Foundation for Research & Technology – Hellas (FORTH) in Greece. At the same time, from 2002 to the present day his also a part time professor for the Deptartment. of Materials Science and Technology, University of Crete, Greece. He recieved his PhD from the [University of Chicago]] in 1978. [1][2][3]
