Erik Bentler has released seven albums, five extended plays, three compilation albums, and six singles since 2017.

He debuted in 2017 with Handiwork, preceded by the single "Dancetime!". Later that year, he released Master DJ, A Little Different, and All I Want Is Love, the middle of the three being an EP. In 2018, he released Corrupted, which would be the last album created by Drum Pad Machine.

In 2019, the aptly titled Format? was released. This EP was the first to be made using Music Maker Jam. Later that year, the singles "Carbon" and "Can't Catch Me" were released. They would later appear on the 2020 album Welcome to The Future, Erik's shortest album to date. It was then followed up with the single "Welcome Back to The Future", which features instruments from each song on the album.

During the United States' lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic, Erik released EPs When In Quarantine and Out of Line. Then, during summer 2020, the album Absolution was released.

In September, a standalone single titled "Sad Boi Hours" was released. Then a few days later, the single "Ice" was released, which later appeared on the EP Synthetic Waterfowl.

In the summer of 2021, the album, a greatest hits album called The Hits! was released. It featured slight edits on some of the songs included, most notably "Hit The Floor!". A few days later, a new album called backwards life was released, along with The Things Vol. 2, another compilation of unused demos akin to the first volume that was released alongside Absolution.

In February 2022, his eighth album, Plastic Surgery, was released. It is the shortest album to date, with only 9 tracks. It is also the first album to not have a Things compilation released alongside it since the start of that series. The Things Vol. 3 released on February 27, 2022, six days after the release of Plastic Surgery.
