Dr. Michael Enger (born 1940 in Bangalore, India) is an Indian-American electrical engineer and computer scientist. He works and designs for 3M's Experimental Electrical Security Engineering Laboratory. He is the senior developer for multiple projects specializing in cyber security and internet safety. He is best known for the Discrete cosine transform computer algorithm. Recently, he has begun development on a new device he calls the Ghost Pulse Hardware which he claims will be an enormous asset to the cyber security network. 3M has given significant financial backing for this development.
