Stein Mart

[edit]

Hello, my name is YborCityJohn, I have reverted your edits on the Stein Mart article. Stein Mart may have filed for Chapter 11 and even through they have closed all of their stores they are still in business operating as an online retail. In the future please research information about a company before making changes to a Wikipedia article. Thanks. YborCityJohn (talk) 17:51, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Crab Rangoon

[edit]

Thanks for checking the reference in Crab Rangoon and pointing out that Wayne Schmidt isn't mentioned in it. That text was added by a one-edit IP editor in February 2020; not only does it "smell funny", but a quick Google search for Wayne Schmidt and Crab Rangoon finds only a handful of hits, all apparently based on the Wikipedia article. So I'd encourage you in the future to simply remove such dubious content rather than just flag it as "verification failed". Sadly, there's too much vandalism like this on WP.... Information icon Hello, I'm Styx & Stones. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Great Western Bank (1919–1997), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You're doing a good job, just make sure that you put up refs for others to check. Have a good day! Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, 1923 (TV series). While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Tommi1986 let's talk! 10:15, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
