About your recent edits

[edit]

Hey there, I wanted to let you know that a lot of your recent changes are not in line with Wikipedia guidelines. Many of your edits are minor cosmetic changes which have a negligible or invisible impact on the page. A series of these minor changes can be viewed as disruptive to editors monitoring those articles, who now have to check your edits to essentially no effect. Additionally, switching between two valid styles, such as changing a header from "Plot summary" to "Plot", for example, is not acceptable without forming a consensus for those changes. In other words, wikt:if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

That being said, though, there are a variety of minor tasks you can take on which are constructive. Many of the categories at Wikipedia:Backlog are relatively low-effort, and can always use an extra set of hands to help. I hope you'll consider one of these, and let me know if you have any questions. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 01:22, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at The Elephant Man (film), you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please stop changing the default sort for leading articles.   –Skywatcher68 (talk) 20:01, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you blank out or remove content from Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Tower Heist. TRL (talk) 03:45, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please be more careful with your edits. I've noticed on a number of pages you have changed the defaultsort to one matching WP:SORTKEY to one violating it (I assume by replacing it with the page title, such as Special:Diff/1218511564)? Thanks. Skynxnex (talk) 05:09, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
