Welcome to Wikipedia!

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but you may want to consider creating an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (98.155.17.222) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! — Cirt (talk) 04:02, 29 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2013 Alabama school bus driver murder and child abduction, you may be blocked from editing. Harlem Baker Hughes (talk) 01:59, 5 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hello, I'm Winkelvi. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Westroads Mall shooting because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Winkelvi (talk) 00:16, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Dwpaul. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to 2013 Santa Monica shooting because it didn't appear constructive. And again. Continue and I will have admins block you for vandalism. Dwpaul (talk) 00:53, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is your final warning. You may have a thing for HTML list elements, but they are not recommended within info boxes and are identified by WPCLEANER as errors when they appear there. I'm growing tired of reverting your vandalism to this article and will ask that a topic ban be imposed if you insist. Given other comments here about similarly nonconstructive edits you have made to other articles, I do not think it will be a tough sell. Please stop wasting both our time. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Racing Stripes may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Removing content

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm InedibleHulk. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Kidnapping of Hannah Anderson without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!

Also, please consider WP:NPOV before making decisions such as this. You may not consider dogs' lifes and deaths as important as humans, but other people don't consider foreigners as important as their own fellow citizens, or people of other religions as important as theirs. Your bias may not seem as bad as that, to you, but that's how bias works.

We go by what the reliable sources say here. If they count the dog among the dead, we do the same. Doing so doesn't imply any of the dead is more or less important, only verifiably dead, as a clear result of this event. So when there's an infobox for deaths resulting for an event, the correct number is more important than the number you (or I) would prefer. InedibleHulk (talk) 23:18, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Kidnapping of Hannah Anderson. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing.

You've yet to even offer a policy-based argument on talk, where consensus is for the compromise. Getting annoying seeing you remove this content every day. InedibleHulk (talk) 02:54, 31 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Kidnapping of Hannah Anderson, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.

Specifically, WP:LISTEN. Local consensus is for the compromise of listing Cali alongside the dead humans, while making a distinction by specifying she was a dog. You don't seem to hear that. InedibleHulk (talk) 03:22, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
