Important Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to New York City Police Department, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:05, 27 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Instead of being condescending, maybe help people doing things they aren’t sure about doing. AndrewTough1 (talk) 19:58, 27 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, why don’t you do it then AndrewTough1 (talk) 19:58, 27 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sorry, but it's a fact. It should be immediately obvious that what you were doing here was...well, made no sense. "Bureau Chief Image Missing"? I suppose I could help you, but it was totally unclear what you were attempting to do. And of course you're working in a table, which is difficult even for experienced editors--the thing to do is to use preview, and not save things that are incorrect. Good luck. Drmies (talk) 14:59, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
"Image missing". that message could not be clearer. AndrewTough1 (talk) 14:26, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I would like to inform editors that the article regarding the Kingstone Beidge in Glasgow needs amended. It is not “one of the busiest road bridges in Europe, it is THE busiest. AndrewTough1 (talk) 18:00, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Police Scotland, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 13. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

December 2022[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. DrKay (talk) 15:12, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

An article you recently created, First deputy new york city police commissioner, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Camilla, Queen Consort[edit]

There was a talk page discussion and the result of that is to keep Consort. DrKay (talk) 18:12, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is absolutely no precedent to refer to a Queen Consort as "Queen Consort", tradition is that the wife of the King is the Queen. So this is wrong. AndrewTough1 (talk) 18:46, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
