Vandalism

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thank you. 68.97.135.50 01:44, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've been reverting vandalism by 68.97.135.50, not doing the vandalism. -AndyBQ 01:46, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This user impersonated me, as User:AndyBBQ. I reported it, and the user was banned. This vandalism claim is bogus. -AndyBQ 03:42, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm at my 3RR limit, but if you could revert the recent edits there made by the same anon user as at McGill University, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Ardenn 07:08, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Most of it seems reasonable to me. I've been watching that user closely. Add the {{fact}} template after the problem areas, for [citation needed], and post on the talk page of the article. -AndyBQ 07:14, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I try! Also, thanks for the amusing vandalism. AndyBQ 17:05, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I posted a link on the Free_software_Unicode_typefaces page that was removed by the COIbot for possible conflict of interest, and flagged the website as possible spam. I saw from the talk page that you had made editorial changes on that entry. I left a message on that talk page, but don't know if you've seen it. I haven't posted anything on Wikipedia before. What is the policy on posting a link to our own site that gives away software and data under the GNU GPL and in the public domain? Can I add the link back in under this user name, or should I ask you or another editor to add it? Roman Czyborra, the creator of the package you mention, has encouraged me to continue the work I'm doing.--Ph9000 (talk) 12:52, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I responded on the talk page for the article, at Talk:Free software Unicode typefaces. AndyBQ (talk) 15:29, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Aoskar

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Aoskar, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Aoskar. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
