Protection of Georgette Mosbacher

I see that you declined my request for protection for this article. Please reconsider. It has been regularly vandalized and of the most dangerous kind--changing dates and numbers especially. In addition, untrue information is being added. And this vandalism has been going on for months. All from anonymous users. And since you declined to protect it earlier today, it has again been vandalised. If protecting the article is not the appropriate response, please advise me what ought to be done. SDC (talk) 14:11, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have warned the vandalizing users; if they continue adding factual inaccuracies to the article, they will be blocked. If more IPs start vandalizing the article, I will consider protecting it, but the current rate of vandalism seems manageable. I have also added the article to my watchlist to prevent vandalism from staying in the article for too long. --Aqwis (talkcontributions) 15:30, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for your feedback on Wikipedia:Featured_picture_candidates/Seattle#Downtown_Seattle - I have addressed some of your concerns and would appreciate your input on the updated version! Achromatic (talk) 20:47, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed my vote to Support. --Aqwis (talkcontributions) 22:04, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alteratives

I just noticed that you deleted my page on alteratives, rather than suggesting improvements or making them. This is an important category of botanical medicines, similar to adaptogens, and should be in Wikipedia. I would like you to restore the page, which I am having trouble locating. I believe it was a stub. KSVaughan2 (talk) 15:12, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have posted the deleted article to a sub-page of your user space, User:Ksvaughan2/Alteratives. Please be aware that if you recreate the article without substantial changes, it will probably be speedily deleted as recreation of deleted material. --Aqwis (talkcontributions) 19:46, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish and russian in norwegian schools

In this editing you say that spanish and russian are taught in norwegian elementary schools. This is correct, according to this government info, but i am very doubtful about the quantity of it. I think it is very marginal, except perhaps for russian in northeast norway. Do you know any figures? Mvh --Orland (talk) 22:47, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will try to find some numbers and figures once I get home from my easter vacation. :) I believe Russian is also teached at the largest schools in Oslo, but you may be right that it's not widespread enough for inclusion in the article. --Aqwis (talkcontributions) 18:52, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Before/after of Peyto Lake panorama

I only noticed it just now, but I love what you did to my panorama:

Before
After

It makes my picture look like crap :) You should replace the original with your version, too. Good job! What software did you use? László (talk) 10:30, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Museums WikiProject

Hi! You expressed an interest in a Museums Wiki Project and after working in a number of articles and wanting to add a template that didn't exist, I went ahead and launched the project:

I'd appreciate any feedback you have (this is my first project} and any help in project related 'stuff'. Thanks TRAVELLINGCARIMy storyTell me yours 16:53, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong invite template was used - I've replaced it.— Rod talk 13:34, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've added myself to the members list. --Aqwis (talkcontributions) 14:37, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Norwegian help on an AfD

Hi! I just saw when you added yourself to the Museums WikiProject that you live in Norway and I was wondering if you might be able to help with this AfD: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Electrocutango. It's not at all museums related but it does need the help of someone who can read Norwegian since the award cannot be verified through English google results. No worries if you don't have time, I just figured I'd ask since I noticed you were in Norway. TRAVELLINGCARIMy storyTell me yours 15:28, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you very much for your comment regarding one of my pictures. Though the result is hundred percent oppose, I learned many issues related to photography from your and others comments. Since I am a novice in the filed of photography, I am still in my learning phase and would like to receive tips from you. I hope you won't mind if I request you in future to guide me through your comments regarding my pictures. Cheers. -- Niaz(Talk • Contribs) 14:14, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
