Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Paul Harris (choreographer). When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Maintenance templates

[edit]

The warning above is probably a shock, I am aware of that. But you can not remove the maintenance templates without solving the issues first.

Main problem is the near complete lack of sources. It is essential that you give independent, reliable sources for the information that you provide. See Reliable Sources for more info.

Another problem is that you are more or less advertising mr. Harris with sentences like Harris is an acknowledged authority and leading choreographer in (...) and It is considered a definitive work of its kind in the dance industry and (...). Those term or has to be backed up with multiple sources, or must be toned down to a more neutral description.

Article must always be neutral of tone and style because that is what an encyclopaedia needs.

Happy editing! The Banner talk 13:29, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please bear with me because I'm new here. Besides, I just updated Mr. Harris' works and photo. About the description, I'll advice him about it. Cheers!
You advice him? You are working for or on behalf of him? Please, read Conflict of Interest. The Banner talk 15:00, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm just one of his fans. I just don't want to be rude by changing the description taken from his website.
Neutrality is important on Wikipedia. You can hardly expect Paul Harris to have a neutral non-biased opinion about Paul Harris. For proper sources you have to look elsewhere for independent reliable sources than his own website or social media like facebok, twitter or YouTube. The Banner talk 21:05, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
