Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Demographics of Hungary may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Portrait of Michael the Brave

[edit]

The portrait of Mișu Popp is much better considering the picture's quality against Sadeler's portrait. Then Mișu Popp's portrait it is based on Sadeler's portrait. So there are no distortions.

Anyway I kept both portraits in the article. After your revert, the Mișu Popp's portrait is no longer in the article and this is not good. -- Regards, Saturnian (talk) 09:05, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I readded Popp's portrait to the article. There are probably tens of posthumous portraits, but we have only one contemporary potrait. Sadeler's portrait is by far the most valuable and most be kept in the infobox. Avpop (talk) 09:18, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reference Errors on 16 May

[edit]

Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:26, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Avpop, for adding Romanian nationalism to Category:Stubs. However, there are a couple things you should note:

  1. You should try to find the most appropriate stub category to place an article in. However, it is understandable if you leave stub organization up to other users.
  2. You must always place {{Stub}} at the far bottom of the article below any navigational templates and below all the categories.

Thanks!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Greater Hungary (political concept), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Greater Hungary (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Edit in coordination with User:Fakirbakir?

[edit]

Hi,

Out of curiosity, do you and Fakirbakir coordinate to edit articles? Do you two know each other? NickCT (talk) 15:27, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! The answer is negative. If you analyze our edits, you will remark that not rarely we had divergent opinions here on en.wp; so it can hardly be said that we coordinate our edits. I follow sometimes his activity and make edits at the same articles, but not with the purpose of confronting/annoying him. We've solved our disputes from the last months in a civilized manner, so I have no reason to stalk him around with evil intentions. Nor would it be fair from my side to harass him, given that he could have made a disservice to me and he chose not to (he knows what I am talking about).
We are not real-life acquaintances, the only thing I know about Fakirbakir is that he is a Hungarian guy living in the U.K. Anyway, I am kind of surprised that someone that I've never interacted with was so willing to examine our edit histories and to compare the pages were we contributed. Avpop (talk) 17:17, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Avpop: - Yeah.... I've taken a look at your edits. I understand your surprise. I'm working automated sock account identifier program. You and Fakirbakir popped up as a strong match in a random screen. I wanted some info to see if you were somehow related. Looking over your edits it seems unlikely you're socks....... (sigh)..... more tweaking to my coding needed.
It's understandable you guys came up as a potential match though. You've hit a lot of the same pages..... NickCT (talk) 17:31, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
