Categories for discussion nomination of Category:2010 in Lombardy

Category:2010 in Lombardy, which you created, has been nominated for deletion, merging, or renaming. The article Gianmario Invernizzi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Per WP:POLITICIAN just being a candidate does not confer notability. Also I can't find any reliable english sources that prove he passes the WP:GNG.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Hi. When you recently edited Italian referendums, 1990, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Field (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Please stop deleting this page. I have the Nohlen & Stöver book in front of me and it gives the results for the Constitutional Assembly election on page 1685. If you don't believe me, I can scan it and send it to you. Number 57 23:47, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps the name is the issue, as the book only groups elections into Constitutional Assembly, Parliament (lower house and upper house) and President. It may well have been a Constituent Assembly (which is different concept). But anyway, the book is clear that there was an election on 25 March and has voting figures - I don't see how these could have been invented. Number 57 00:16, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Until this discussion has reached a conclusion, please stop deleting the link on the template (and please reinstate it now) as the article exists in the meantime. Thanks, Number 57 00:17, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The book states that those present elected a Grand and General Council, but that the author does not know how many members it has. Number 57 00:33, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If it was some form of Constitutional Assembly, then that's not a surprise as they frequently aren't counted as parliaments. Number 57 00:45, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting

[edit]

Rather than just reverting as you have done here, how about actually trying to improve the results table? Instead of restoring a crap version that is incorrectly formatted and doesn't even include the number of votes for the Senate, why not simply correct the figures in the table and even add more details of the "other" parties which are clearly available on the Ministry's website.

FYI, the Nohlen book states that its figures often differ from those of the national election commission because they examine the base data in detail and often come up with different totals. Number 57 23:38, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

On a positive note, well done for expanding the articles on the Sammarinese elections. I have made a few minor corrections to the English grammar in them. Number 57 23:43, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You cannot simply redirect this article by continuous reverting - there needs to be a consensus to do so, which there isn't. Please either go through the WP:AfD process or start a WP:RFC. A further revert will result in a WP:AN3 report. Number 57 14:33, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As promised, I have now reported you for edit warring as you are continuing to revert. Number 57 00:49, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've reviewed the report at WP:ANEW. You're both edit-warring. Unless you'd both like to be blocked, here's what's going to happen. I will revert the article back to before the redirect. Barlafus, you can nominate the article for deletion if you like, or you can open a discussion on the article talk page about a redirect and try to obtain a consensus for your view. If you redirect the article on your own, I may block you without notice.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:06, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free image use

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically Italian Senate election, 1994 (Lombardy), may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:04, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

1945 Istrian local elections moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 1945 Istrian local elections, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
