Invitation to WikiProject Kentucky

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! Based on your recent edits, it seems like you have some local knowledge of Henderson, Kentucky. Because of this, I'd like to invite you to WikiProject Kentucky. Just drop by and put your name on our members list, then help us create and improve articles related to Kentucky... that's it!

The following articles could probably use your expertise:

Feel free to ask me any questions via my talk page. Hope to see you at WikiProject Kentucky! Acdixon 14:47, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I requested the deletion of The Gleaner newspaper (Henderson, Kentucky), and an administrator has taken care of the request, so I removed the merge request at the top of the Henderson Gleaner article. I also added Henderson Gleaner to List of newspapers in Kentucky. I think we've almost got the article cleaned up enough to remove the "formal tone" notice as well. Not sure about the "doesn't cite sources" notice because I don't know which parts of the article you drew from your supplied references.

It's great to see another editor working on articles related to this part of the state. Seems like anything outside the Golden Triangle gets ignored. Still hope you'll "officially" join up with WikiProject Kentucky, but I'll be keeping tabs on your work nonetheless. Thanks for your great editing! Acdixon 14:30, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nice job coming back with some references on Henderson Gleaner. I've modified their syntax to reflect what I believe to be the most standard way of providing references on Wikipedia. I also removed the "unsourced" tag. Acdixon 13:43, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Glad to help. Thanks for bearing with me. I certainly haven't learned all the nuances of Wiki. Not sure how much time I can devote to Wiki, but I am definitely impressed with the oversight. Chuckipedia

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
