About Glee episode credits

You've been doing a good job at straightening out some of the Glee episode credits, especially in terms of getting them in the right order, but I wanted to let you know how the Glee task force has been approaching the co-star credits that appear at the end of the show.

As a general rule, only special guest star and guest star credits should appear in the infobox. Co-star credits do not. (I believe this is standard for TV programs.) We've made an exception for people who later become recurring guest stars, like Ashley Fink and Lauren Potter, by backdating them into the bottom of the credits of those episodes before they made the transition. For people like Telly Leung, who goes back and forth, we only credit them as a guest star when they're listed as one. I think the only exception we made was for the one time Curt Mega sang lead on a song, when we listed him in the box, but that is admittedly an arguable decision. So Ryan Heinke, who plays Brett, should not appear in the infobox; the same is true for Rock Anthony, who played Rick the Stick, and the same is true for the Warblers generally. Grant and Nolan are the only two Warblers who have (so far) always been credited as guest stars, as Darren was in his first season. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:12, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Reputation (Glee) infobox credit edits

Dlogronios, when there is a disagreement such as we are currently having over the order of the guest stars in the Bad Reputation (Glee) article's infobox, it is your responsibility to explain your reasoning. This should occur on the article's talk page, but you should include an edit summary with all your edits to help other editors understand what you're doing.

In this case, I strongly believe you are wrong. While Olivia Newton-John is listed last in the Guest Star section, we have included two co-stars in this list, because they later became guest stars on the show: we typically add them into earlier shows once they've been promoted in that way. However, in no way does this mean they should be listed before anyone who had billing in the opening credits; indeed, I have no idea why a one-episode co-star like Mary Jo Catlett is on the list, and have removed her.

So, before you edit this article again, you need to start a discussion on the article's talk, and participate until WP:CONSENSUS is reached.
