Speedy deletion of Mabel Fitzgerald

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Mabel Fitzgerald requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. flaminglawyer 00:27, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Prince Maxmilian Charles of Baden, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Prince Maxmilian Charles of Baden provides no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Prince Maxmilian Charles of Baden, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. The Selfish Princess (Play)

[edit]

Hi. Just ran across the The Selfish Princess (Play) article amongst the new pages and I have say that I have doubts about the assertions, and indeed, the existence of this play. Apart from the obvious lack of an author, the article asserts a rather remarkable cast list. A play debut having Ellen Terry in the lead and Alfred Lord Tennyson, Jenny Lind and Arthur Sullivan in supporting roles would, without question, generate notabilty for the play and yet, nothing seems to be known about the play. I have added a Hoax tag to the article and I'll be moving to delete it in a few hours. Of course, if you have any sources to verify anything in the article, you should probably add them now.
