I have nominated this article for deletion under the policy that Wikipedia is not an indescriminate collection of information. You seem very vested in this article, so if you would like to save it, please trim it down to look like an encyclopedia article and not scholarly paper. Please rewview the Wikipedia Manual of Style for more details. Thanks! --SquidSK (1MClog) 15:31, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you deleted most of this article. I'm sorry if my proposed deletion caused you to do this, but I invite you to review the Manual of Style as well as some articles that may related to your field of expertise. I think Conductive education could be made into a good article that falls somewhere between the length it was when I proposed deletion and the length it is now. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them for me on my talk page. Thanks, and happy editing! --SquidSK (1MClog) 15:36, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Conductive education

[edit]

Please provide sources for your references in Conductive education. Referring someone to Tatlow, 1988, is of no use if you don't tell us what publication you're referring to. Ideally you would use Wikipedia reference format, which creates footnotes. I have modified several statements about the effectiveness of conductive education; I'm not saying that it's not effective, but you need to provide sources for claims like that – sources people can find. Having said all that I'll now wish you good luck with the article. Conductive education is an important treatment and I'd like the question of the effectiveness of CE to be settled finally. I have created a reference section for the article. If you use reference tags similar to those I created your references will be added to the reference list automatically. PBrain 16:30, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for you comment and help, I'm working on it.

Thanks for getting to it so quickly and efficiently. Besides making the article better, you've also given me some sources to read. I have a file of articles about CE somewhere. There are some interesting papers in there that might be worth adding, so i'll look for it. PBrain 23:05, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
