Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to 60th Academy Awards, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.

The "show preview" button is right next to the "save page" button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Peaceray (talk) 05:36, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

References in biography articles

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Wendy Finerman. Thank you.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:39, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon I noticed that you recently used IMDB as a source for information in a biography article. Please note that per long-standing consensus, IMDb does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for the inclusion of personal information in such articles. You can read more about the reasons for this here, here and here.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:44, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

stop Unfortunately it looks like you've continue to add unsourced dates across many articles despite being advised it's against Wikipedia policy to do so. I will be reviewing your edits and reverting any of them that do not meet WP:DOB, WP:BLP and WP:RS. Further violations of these policies and guidelines may result in sanctions on your account. You are also incorrectly marking your edits as minor - please ensure you are adhering to WP:MINOR moving forward.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:49, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You're still adding unsourced personal information to BLPs and disruptively marking such edits as minor. If this continues, I will block your account.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:43, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
