re Iranian Air Crash

[edit]

Storey is the correct English spelling. "Story" is an American adaptation and thus is only appropriate for U.S.-centric articles. I know that the whole English vs. American English thing can get confusing, but please be aware of it. Cheers. Jackk 05:37, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Declaration of War

[edit]

I see you have decided to edit my user page. I think some sort of war is in order. Don't be surprised if, at some point in the near future, you see a userbox saying you have an urge to make love with sheep. Or that sheep have an urge to make love to you. What's more, you will never find out who I am. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Allispaul (talkcontribs)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Isshin and ichigo.PNG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Isshin and ichigo.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Seoul Foreign School

[edit]

I've restored it as a contested WP:PROD. It does need sourcing from reliable sources, the fact that other stuff exists in a similar poor state does not excuse it, this is a large project and perhaps no one has got around to fixing/deleting those yet. For contested WP:PRODs you should just be able to ask the deleting admin to restore it or list in the top section of DRV, no need for a full DRV listing. --pgk 16:08, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Ottogi_logo.gif listed for deletion

[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Ottogi_logo.gif, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. — Luccas 15:57, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CVU status

[edit]

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
