Your edit to Lindsay Lohan

[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.--Ate Pinay (talkemail) 19:52, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Further note: if you read the article, you'll see a note with a cited, reliable source stating that Lohan has dropped out of AWoNI. Thanks. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 19:52, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Hmspecialearly.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hmspecialearly.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:06, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

DCOM

[edit]

None of the movies you posted are from reliable sources. A forum site is not reliable. Also those movies, if actually are made, will be shown near the end of the year and as such it is too early to add them. I suggest waiting until either a reliable disney or news source publish something about them, or ads begin appearing at the disney website or on disney channel. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 01:47, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wizards of Waverly Place

[edit]

If you add this to List of Disney Channel series, I will take it to ANI. Until this series has a definite name, we can not add it. I have found multiple sources say, yes it does exist, but each one has a different name for the show. When it has a definite name, feel free to add it back, until then leave it off. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 15:32, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: FYI

[edit]

I have removed it for 2 reasons. 1 that template is for shows currently or previously aired, not future. 2 it doesn't seem to hae a steady name. The name is changing too frequently for us to add it to any lists/templates. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 21:40, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adminship

[edit]

Hi there; I think that you may be trying to apply to be an admin, although if so you have done it in the wrong format and in the wrong place.

I have no wish to discourage you, and I hope you will carry on editing, but an editor with only 142 edits has absolutely no chance of being accepted by the community as an admin, and I seriously suggest that you withdraw. Most editors talking part in a promotion discussion like to se at least 2,000 edits - many prefer 3,000 - with a solid experience in WP:NAMESPACE, where you have pretty much not been. Several months of contributing is also a normal expectation. But happy wikying anyway.--Anthony.bradbury 21:25, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I moved your RfA draft on your user space, at User:HD325/RfA. Please refrain from re creating this content on the article space :). -- lucasbfr talk 21:26, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to proceed with this application, go to WP:RfA and follow the instructions. But I seriously urge you to heed my warning, above.--Anthony.bradbury 21:36, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As your RfA aplication is in the wrong place, and no-one is going to find it, I intend to delete it in about 24 hours. You have that long, if you wish, to correctly format it.--Anthony.bradbury 10:28, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

HSM2

[edit]

I reverted your plot description of High School Musical 2. We've had a lot of people adding in unsourced and uncited information. If you can provide a source for your plot details, that would be a great thing :) Otherwise, we'll have to delete it as rumor and spec. -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 15:51, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good job! I had to go back and copy edit it, because it was obviously lifted from the Tommy site and we can't do that. -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 19:39, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hannah2cdcoversz3.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Fair use rationale for Image:JONAS.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:JONAS.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NrDg 01:59, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to J.O.N.A.S!. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Fair use disputed for Image:Meet Miley Cyrus.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Meet Miley Cyrus.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:15, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nickelodeon Original Movies, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Nickelodeon Original Movies satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nickelodeon Original Movies and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Nickelodeon Original Movies during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Wowppy.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Wowppy.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:05, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Shotatlove2.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 01:42, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated List of films aired on Nickelodeon, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of films aired on Nickelodeon. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
