Costa Rican footballers

[edit]

Hi. You have done a fantastic job in covering Costa Rican football. Thanks! For more players who need articles, see Football World Cup 2002 (squads)#Costa Rica. Happy editing, Punkmorten 19:09, 5 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Joche, and welcome to Wikipedia. An article you recently created, Real Estate & Business Attorneys, has been tagged for speedy deletion because its content is clearly written to promote a company, product, or service. This article may have been deleted by the time you see this message. Please keep in mind that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising service. Thank you. ju66l3r 03:09, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles, as you did with Real Estate & Business Attorneys. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. ju66l3r 03:13, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your comments on the discussion page of the now deleted RE&B Attorneys article were correct that this article was no different from two other such articles. The problem is that none of the three meet the guidelines for notable companies or businesses. These are essentially business promotions and are therefore quickly removed from the website. Thanks. ju66l3r 03:29, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spam

[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Attack

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on this page, by SkierRMH (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because the article is a page created primarily to disparage its subject or a biography of a living person that is controversial in tone and unsourced, where there is no neutral point of view version in the history to revert to. (CSD G10).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting the article, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate the article itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 05:10, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Fernando Hernández

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Fernando Hernández, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 172.130.219.219 22:51, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FORGET THAT I just notice article was vandalised. Sorry.

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Joche! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 7 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 697 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
