[edit]

Hello, I'm Happysailor. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Category:Fatal Frame video games  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Happysailor (Talk) 14:31, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

[edit]

Can I suggest you take a look at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion. Categories should be renamed, rather than you creating new categories and deleting the old ones. - Happysailor (Talk) 16:06, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! — Smjg (talk) 13:17, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Unreliable sources

[edit]

Hi LKAvn, Thunderbolt and Den of Geek are not reliable sources—they have no reputation for fact checking or accuracy. Please revert your edit. GamesBeat should be okay. – czar 17:15, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It's not sourcing any factual infomation. --LKAvn (talk) 17:17, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Even if it's opinion, we don't catalog the opinions of some individual on the Internet—we care about what reliable sources have to say about the subject. Please remove it. – czar 18:07, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

PlayStation Power

[edit]

Hi. I've been working on Guilty Gear (video game) foor a good time but it has been difficult to find sources to completely source its gameplay. I've already exhausted all the sources I have and it has been difficult to find more reviews. Recently, I discovered MobyGames lists the game's reviews. And it says there's a review in the April 2000 issue of Playstation Power. MobyGames don't have it, neither do Internet Archive. You may be wondering why I'm telling you this. And the answer is this edit. Through Wikipedia search I discovered Reiko Nagase use it as a source. And though it's not the edition I want, you found an edition that is not in the Internet Archive. Could you help me to find the issue I want? Gabriel Yuji (talk) 05:35, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, sorry. Some issues are at http://www.oldgamemags.com/consoles/playstation/playstation-power/ but not this one yet. --LKAvn (talk) 08:19, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Use user manual. --LKAvn (talk) 09:10, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hm, ok, thanks for the link anyway. Unfortunately, I don't have the manual and couldn't find it on Internet. May you know a site where I can find it? Gabriel Yuji (talk) 15:00, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In the game box? --LKAvn (talk) 12:10, 10 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved Maximus to draftspace. Also the reviews can't just be quotes pulled wholesale from the source—they need to be paraphrased. Please do not create articles unless they have significant coverage in reliable sources (especially when you do not plan to expand their prose or leave anything more than a skeleton for others to expand). Having less than three reviews from WP:VG/RS is generally a sign that the article needs work. – czar 09:37, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • I review new video game articles, not just yours. As for saying I linked an "essay not a policy", this is covered in copyright violation policy. Reception section quotes that can be further paraphrased (without using wholesale quotes) should be. Please revise your work. – czar 13:14, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Liara

[edit]

whatever text is there, is what was on the List of Mass Effect characters page of Liara's description. And I made the new article because at that time it was suggested that Liara be split. But no, I don't plan to go further into it so if it'll be merged back in, go right ahead. Osh33m (talk) 13:43, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
