Local Time

Why do you add local times in 2011 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship qualifying round -so it seems that the Artikel use local times (all times are CET) --92.248.27.103 (talk) 13:31, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

Anonymous editor, if the times are CET then that should be stated. Or is it already there somewhere and I missed it? LarryJeff (talk) 15:40, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

2010 AFC U-19 Championship Group A

Hi .. You write this:Syria will advance to the knockout stage if they defeat China PR AND Saudi Arabia do not defeat Thailand.

i think if syria Defeat China it will advance to the knockout stage Directly beacause it will be Superior on China and Thailand by Direct confrontation am i Right or not ??? -Bo yaser (talk) 14:50, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

The 3-way tie would be Syria, China, and Saudi Arabia--not Syria, China, and Thailand.
If, on 5-Oct, Syria defeat China and Saudi Arabia defeat Thailand; then on 7-Oct, Saudi Arabia defeat Syria and China defeat Thailand; then we have a 3-way tie at 6 points between Syria, China, and Saudi Arabia. Goal difference would then determine the 2 teams to advance from the group. So Syria would not be able to clinch on the 5th if Saudi Arabia defeat Thailand. AFC Brakcets

If it's pointless to put the X, then why put the 1 when they are listed on the top of the bracket anyways. I'll not put an X but I am getting rid of that 1 because it makes people think there is a supplement at the bottom of the bracket. 71.233.89.24 (talk) 05:12, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

I assume by "top of the bracket" you mean first in their division. This does equate to being the #1 seed in the conference, which is what the "(1)" denotes. This is explained by the legend above the standings on the NFL season page. -- As I type that, I suddenly realize the source of confusion now. The notes are in the article "2010 NFL Season" but if you're looking at the same template in a different article then you don't get to see that explanation. Of course, you also don't see the explanation of what the x, y, or z notes mean either, so by that logic all of these symbols should be removed, not just the seed numbers.LarryJeff (talk) 19:11, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

2011 South American Youth Championship

Hey is it possible for you do include that the top 4 teams also qualify for the Pan American games. Thank you. Intoronto1125 (talk) 19:25, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Someone already added that to the lead paragraph. I'll work up the scenarios, but probably wait until after tomorrow's matches to include that. It's already pretty long, plus the Pan Am Games scenario will be slightly different from the U-20 World Cup scenario (since Pan Am is strictly the top 4 rather than "top 4 beside Colombia"). LarryJeff (talk) 22:06, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Well, Colombia made things simpler for us by getting eliminated from a top 4 finish. Now the scenarios for the Pan Am games are the same as the U-20 WC. I just added a note to that effect below the scenarios for Chile and Ecuador.LarryJeff (talk) 18:16, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

Can I get a response at Talk:2011_NCAA_Men's_Division_I_Basketball_Tournament#.7B.7Bcbb_link.7D.7D.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 16:27, 19 March 2011 (UTC)

I answered. After re-reading some the comments, it seems like everyone may have actually been thinking along the same lines already, just misunderstanding each other. LarryJeff (talk) 15:46, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
