Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Information icon Hello, I'm Djm-leighpark. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, ITV3, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Djm-leighpark (talk) 15:52, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at BBC Newsline, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. SovalValtos (talk) 21:00, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please DO NOT be adding selected presenters from BBC The Nine if they have not presented any Reporting Scotland bulletins. This is not useful information. Anne does present Wednesday night bulletins as well as Thursday's and Friday's. It is unsure whether if Sarah only presents Breakfast bulletins on a part-time basis now. DO NOT keep editing this section until major changes are present. Thanks Maplover123 (talk) 22:19, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reminder about it, hope you are having a great Easter weekend as well. Mason Leka (talk) 15:13, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop Making Useless edits - User: Mason Leka

[edit]

You are constantly making unsourced and useless edits on different news programmes including BBC News at Six, BBC Breakfast, BBC Newsline and BBC Reporting Scotland. You need to stop this constant presenting list editing otherwise a permanent user block will be put in place. Maplover123 (talk) 23:11, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks once again for the reminder. I may not do it ever again and hope you are having a great Easter weekend as well. See you soon. Mason Leka (talk) 15:14, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information regarding BBC Reporting Scotland

[edit]

Hi Mason,

It would be really appreciated for you to stop making up shift rotas for presenters on BBC Reporting Scotland such as adding David Wallace Lockhart and John Beattie as they have never presented the programme.

I understand that Laura Miller and Sally Magnusson are on holiday at the moment, but does not mean that the rota gets repetitively edited, it is mainly for display purposes and is only to be edited if a presenter has left permanently or is on maternity leave. This is to give a sense of who regularly anchors each role respectively.

I also understand that Anne McAlpine has been absent from the programme over the last few weeks (most likely on holiday) but this still means she is apart of the Late News presenting team (Wednesday to Friday only) whilst Sarah McMullan presents on a regular but part-time basis becoming the Breakfast and Lunchtime presenter on the show since August 2021 (occasionally presenting bulletins outside her usual role).

I realise you are just a regular and minor contributor to Wikipedia as am I (meaning I cannot block you) but I would advise you to stop making repeated edits to the rota as it not only confuses myself but anyone who views the article, this also goes for other programmes such as BBC Breakfast and BBC News at One, Six and Ten.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with me (or somebody more senior across Wikipedia).

Many thanks :)
