Not sure

Going for ministerial statements on Tas things is as wise as finding it in WP:RS in the media, as the PR machine of the hodgman government ministers is one thing, another is how the journos re-digest it. It is not primary source as such, but the smell of them can be misleading if one is thinking of WP:NPOV - no hard rules or policies, but have to take it into account... heheh if youre not careful it will look like you are hodgman staffer :) JarrahTree 10:19, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks JarrahTree, in general I agree but in this case the ministerial statement provides quite a detailed timeline and a range of facts that accord with other points made in the article. I haven't used it to discuss future policy or likely outcomes of the policy, for example. Moppaquestionmark (talk) 05:20, 14 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! One note on your addition of the ranked list of Livable Cities: Lists like that are formed from some internal formula or algorithm of the compiler, are typically copyrighted and can't be used here. WP:CIL, an essay, describes the reasons behind that. Lists based off of purely factual data with no creative formula applied are typically ok to use. I know this seems a bit counter-intuitive, so pelase feel free to ask me any questions along those lines. Thanks! CrowCaw 22:55, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
