Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Mattie Stepanek, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 04:41, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The material was copied directly from another website, and thus was a copyright violation. Please don't add copyright material to this wiki. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:03, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Diannaa and all other users/ admins/ moderators... just listen one thing carefully that I quoted references of all sources, where I collected the information from! Secondly, you guys are repeating two different foolish points. First, you guys insist to mention the sources where I collected the information from and then you guys are foolishly asking me not to collect data from other websites. Tell me should I write totally opposite from the data written in other websites? And plz note one thing, I have no more interest in WIKIPEDIA and I signed in wikipedia only to delete or deactivate my account but unfortunately I have not found the link yet. I am not interested to use wikipedia, as it is the worst place to work and it is certainly totally wastage of time. So... stop sending me your rubbish messages.

Proposed deletion of Pakistan Peacekeeping Mission

[edit]

The article Pakistan Peacekeeping Mission has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Blatantly non-notable. Not a single independent source available.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, PeacekeepingMission. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 14:39, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership of articles

[edit]

Please stop assuming ownership of articles. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ThePlatypusofDoom (talk) 17:21, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Farhan Wilayat Butt. - Mlpearc (open channel) 17:28, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No need for any blockage. I am already not willing to work for wikipedia in future.

Peace

[edit]

That looks like it was a pretty rough start. While the actual deletion of the two articles was probably inevitable according to Wikipedia's policies, I wish we had a way to deal with this stuff in a less confrontational manner. If you're going to give up on the place, I understand. If you ever would like to understand why the articles were going to be deleted, and figure out if they could ever be revised to meet our inclusion guidelines (at this point I don't know, probably not but it's possible I suppose), let me know. --Floquenbeam (talk) 17:39, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Floquenbeam, I was so much excited and so much passionate to bring something good and I really spent hours to draft those articles. Especially, I made so much efforts to collect most appropriate and accurate information about that peace activist and gathered reliable references as evidences but Wikipedia team extremely discouraged and disappointed me. Of course, I will never waste any further time on wikipedia because I really do not have that much leisure time. I hardly get time after my job and studies and I can not afford to see my articles (on which I spent many hours) deleting my wikipedia team in a few minutes.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. Request reason:

I need to be unblocked and I seriously want to change my UserName and want to rename it (with the same name, I used for my nick name). Please tell me exactly what should I do?? I am totally unable to rename my user name. I have tried to find out the exact form/ page where I can submit a request for revision but I failed to find out even after wasting hours on wikipedia NawabJaan 08:51, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

Decline reason:

In the blue block notification box directly above this message, it says "If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page." That is what you nee to do to request a new username and appeal the block. Yunshui  09:32, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock-un|NawabJaan}}

No, you don't have to use your real ordinary name. I don't, and I'm quite sure User:Boing! said Zebedee doesn't either. What you mustn't do is use the name of an organisation. You can call yourself almost anything else - 'Gertie the Aardvark' probably wouldn't appeal to you, but it would be acceptable. 'LPRG6745' would also be OK. But 'BloggsCo' would probably not be (BloggsCo doesn't exist so far as I know, but it looks like a company name). You can alter your request above if you wish to choose something more anonymous. Peridon (talk) 10:33, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Also, you MUST be signed in when you do it, so we know that it is you and not someone else. Peridon (talk) 10:34, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot Peridon for the valuable guidelines. Please change my username as NawabJ (as I think it will look more appropriate). Yeah, I have also realized PeacekeepingMission looks like a company name, instead of an individual.
