Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Tommy Docherty, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Neil Warnock, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Kosack (talk) 15:24, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Neil Warnock

[edit]

There is a very brief mention of him turning down the Chelsea job but the source that goes with it doesn't really support it. The source provided just says that there were rumours which doesn't really seem substantial proof that it happened. Your edit added even more information that isn't backed up by any sources included in the article from what I can see. Kosack (talk) 06:37, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, unreferenced information is a problem for Wikipedia. I notice the article also claims a "lucrative job offer" from Sunderland but again the source only states that he was linked in newspapers, no mention of any firm offers. Kosack (talk) 07:50, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I do understand that unreferenced information is a problem for wikipedia. Another problem wikipedia has is having references that are websites, and some of these are no longer available or the websites give no source of information. 21 Feb 2018
