This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I don't understand, Wikipedia unblocked my IP address. Why am I being blocked for being a sockpoppet of a blocked user with a different IP address who's still blocked. Please unblock me, I've done nothing wrong.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
  1. understand what you have been blocked for,
  2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
  3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. SQLQuery me! 23:10, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Oh, please. How many times have we heard this before - "It wasn't me", "It's a shared IP", "I'm new here", "This is unfair", "I didn't do anything wrong"? JohnInDC (talk) 13:31, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

But it really is a shared network, I can't help that. I never claimed to the unfamiliar with this, that's the entire reason I created the account in the first place. I am familiar with this and the information I add is legitimate. But an administrator finally unblocks the IP address to the router in my section of the community and I'm immediately blocked for being someone I'm not. Please believe me on this, I truly enjoy editing and feel I'm very decent at it. I even tried to start a talk section on Llammney's page to discuss his/her revisions of my recent edits and try to reach a consensus but he/she deleted every trace of the section in general. I'm not trying to cause trouble for anyone, but I know that's not the way editors are supposed to treat one another here. Ohnoitsjohndoe (talk) 16:27, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop. It's not your IP that's blocked, it's you, the actual, physical, singular human being. It's not "IP addresses" or "new accounts with different names" - it's you. Every single new account you make will be blocked, just like the ones before that. Please don't force another discussion identical to the one at User talk:Amerijuanican. Just stop. It's a waste of everyone's time, not the least of which is yours. Surely you have better things to do. JohnInDC (talk) 16:38, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
A constructive editor such as yourself would revert the information from the blocked editor and re-ad the information if it matches references, which it does, rather than trying to put the other editor down. But that's okay. When I, the actual, physical, singular human "begin" is unblocked after six months, I will be back to fix this incredibly annoying problem you seem to lack the ability to do. Have a great day. Ohnoitsjohndoe (talk) 18:36, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
