About the genre situation[edit]

So you and me have been going back and forth on wether ‘a friend of the family’ is considered a psychological horror, my pov on it is that even though the creator had stated it to be one it isn’t publicly viewed as that enough to be labeled as one, it’s like how jordan peele has called ‘get out’ a social thriller film yet it’s more viewed as a horror meaning it’s called one in the article, I hope this helps the situation a bit better Pomniismywife (talk) 11:38, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

TFA[edit]

Thank you today for Mckenna Grace, "about the girl who plays the younger version of every single white, blond actress (Margot Robbie, Kiernan Shipka, Brie Larson, the list goes on) and that creepy kid on Lifetime. At age 17, Mckenna Grace has over 70 credits, making her the most-credited child actor ever. She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award at 1615 and has impressive range (she played both Paige in Young Sheldon and Esther Keyes in The Handmaid's Tale)."! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:56, 25 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

May 2024[edit]

Hey, I want to clarify on Olivia Rodrigo page - infobox instruments, you said that electric guitar falls under guitar and keyboard with piano. Then why you and other editors allow to post other musicians profile with multi instruments like Jack White with guitar and bass guitar? (bass guitar) is a type of electric guitar or St. Vincent (musician) with guitar and bass, do you know bass is an (electric guitar)? or in Bruno Mars page with guitar, with piano, keyboards, guitar, bass and ukelele (they it all belongs to guitar family)? Olivia plays piano to keyboards, acoustic guitar to electric guitar or bass guitar to ukelele. Why is it not allowed on her profile but its okay to post on others musicians profile? Please advice --Forgiveandloveoneanother (talk) 08:01, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, Forgiveandloveoneanother. What I'm trying to do here is avoid the infobox list becoming a WP:COATRACK of all the instruments Rodrigo plays; as instructed at Template:Infobox musical artist, nstruments listed in the infobox should be limited to only those that the artist is primarily known for using. The instruments infobox parameter is not intended as a WP:COATRACK for every instrument the subject has ever used. (emphasis in original) I think guitar and piano are warranted for inclusion as Rodrigo commonly uses them to write songs and as accompaniments when playing live, but I wouldn't say that's the case for the electric guitar or the keyboard. I believe she's only used the electric guitar when playing "Obsessed" and the keyboard as a substitute for a piano. Also, I don't think there are any fundamental differences between the way she uses the keyboard vs the piano (other than maybe the pedals), so I'd be inclined not to list it. Apologies for the late reply, BTW, I haven't been very active on WP lately. Lemme know what you think! Pamzeis (talk) 08:59, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
