Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Template:Philippine name

[edit]

Hello. I would like to request to add two more variants of Template talk:Philippine name for married women (where the third name which is the marital name will be added), and for natural children (who has no middle name, but has the surname or maternal family name). 203.215.121.28 (talk) 13:19, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I'll try to add two more variants of Template talk:Philippine name for the above-mentioned variants. But also don't forget to add one another variant for stage/pen name as well.RenRen070193 (talk) 14:26, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I think that will be too difficult to put the variant for stage name/pen name because the person might be either a married woman, natural child, or ordinary Filipino that will confuse the viewers. So, two additional variants will be enough. I hope that you will experiment them successfully. 203.215.121.28 (talk) 16:03, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have got another idea. The another variant is for the Filipinos (especially Moros) whose middle name is patronymic. ("This name uses Philippine naming customs. The middle name, _____, is patronymic, not the maternal family name. The last name or family name is _____.") 125.212.122.187 (talk) 05:35, 7 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Philippine name (Part 2)

[edit]

I have made three additional variants in the sandbox. However, they don't work. Can you fix them? 203.215.120.114 (talk) 01:53, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Takuya Kawaharada requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your draft article, User:RenRen070193/sandbox

[edit]

Hello, RenRen070193. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "sandbox".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. 1989 (talk) 03:51, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Mikee Quintos

[edit]

The article Mikee Quintos has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No reliable independent sources to establish notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WWGB (talk) 03:58, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, RenRen070193. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, List of former GMA Network talents, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. An open letter from the editor

[edit]

First of all, I want to inform you that my account is RenRen070193 and I am not the owner of Einahr account. I didn't really get to know him or agree with him. I've had this account for a long time, about 10 years ago, and I know you understand the rules and regulations. But I want to make it clear to you that I'm not doing sockpuppeting.

In my almost 10 years of being a contributor/editor, I have never done the things you are accusing me of in my entire life. I know what my limitations are, even the mistakes I've made but not sockpuppeting. That's why I was surprised when someone accused me that I and @Enhair are the same, no, I don't know what goes through the mind of someone who accused me of something that I didn't do. Another thing is that I didn't have a second account as well as I didn't know the editor nor do I have any connection with that person. I'll admit that I had intended to retire from being an editor in March 2020 because of the depression I experienced due to the pandemic, but it did not happen because I did not know how to deactivate my account so it took until June 2022 before I decided to close my account permanently. I hope that before you judge me for a sin that I didn't commit, you will first know my background as well as the contributions that I have made in 10 years as well as ensure the fair treatment of contributors like me. May the minds of the administrators, my fellow editors, and above all, the ardent readers of Wikipedia, be open-minded, and may this open letter serve as an "eye-opener" not to fight with those editor but for them to know my real saloon about it.

Again, Thank you very much. RenRen070193 (talk) 04:54, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:10, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
