I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Hawaii Five-O (1968 TV series, season 11) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. AussieLegend () 04:13, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

MiLB team "pastnames"

[edit]

I'm writing to let you know why I've removed your additions of past team names to minor league team articles. Per template documentation and usage across Wikipedia, the "pastnames" field is used for prior names for each team in their present city, not what they were called in previous locations. For example, if the Rocket City Trash Pandas eventually change their name but remain in Madison, it would then be listed as a past name, while Mobile BayBears would not. Instead, we typically mention where the team came from and their previous name(s) in the body of the article. You can read a recent discussion regarding the inclusion/exclusion of this data here. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Luigy van Jaarsveld, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Eastern Province. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
