Hello! My name is Belugaboy, and by now, you and I both have heard of the Motto Shop, and if not, there's a Motto Shop! It's an exclusive place where users can get their own motto to live by on the wiki. It's great, but we're really running slow, in fact, we haven't seen a customer in months. So we thought YOU, the contributors to Motto of the Day, could spread the word to your WikiFriends, heck, order yourself one, whether you have or haven't before. Thank you and warm regards to all of you!

When you edited, it changed stuff. I cannot tell if that was you, or some horrible virus on your PC, or your grandchild pressing keys. I can't see a pattern; but maybe just a virus-scan would be a good idea. Best,  Chzz  ►  21:45, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

Christmas' Motto 2011

We need your help. We would be grateful if you would take a few minutes to discuss the nomination for Christmas. The second version is much better, but it is necessary to reach a consensus before approving it.
Thanks and all the best for the upcoming Holiday season! –pjoef (talkcontribs) 09:13, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

You have recently made a few additions to this category, but I am not entirely sure they are correct. These parks may be managed by the agency named The Royal Parks, but the category seems to refer to the parks themselves rather to the agency, and therefore I believe it ought to include only those eight parks which are actually known as Royal Parks (see here). Waltham, The Duke of 15:18, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

PS: It may take a few days for me to reply; I don't always have access to the Web. Waltham

RE: Winter solstice nominations

Are you referring to this nomination? Well, the first line is for the northern hemisphere while the second line suits for the southern hemisphere. It is also suitable for both the Winter (December) and Summer (June) solstice. It's about the same for this other one, but I used one quote only (by Robert Louis Stevenson, which I think it is better for Summer).
I wish you and your family all the very best for the upcoming Holiday season and the New Year. –pjoef (talkcontribs) 18:50, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

MotD (again...)

It seems I'm bugging you about MotD quite a lot... Anyways, a nomination for Wikipedia's birthday was passed. However, an alternative did get proposed, but it got very little discussion. I think it would be better if all options were able to be discussed, as this is a somewhat important day. There would still be time to switch the motto out, if people think it is better, so any comments that you could make would be great! ~~ Hi878 (Come shout at me!) 00:08, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

It appears that the alternative has been put in, so forget I said anything! ~~ Hi878 (Come shout at me!) 23:31, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

I noticed your recent addition and, whilst I think it's a good idea to have a list of the planned stations, I feel that they belong as a new section of List of former and unopened London Underground stations rather than on the list of current stations. This could be mentioned in the text and linked to from the see also section. A redirect from List of planned London Underground stations to that section would also be useful.--DavidCane (talk) 22:02, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

New Year Metro

Sorry its late and happy new year. Simply south...... having large explosions for 5 years 23:05, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

Is there a source anywhere that currently gives this as the name for the station? It seems a rather ungainly mouthful and the diagram of the proposed extension (here) calls it just Watford Hospital station. I suspect when it comes to be named, it may simply be called "Vicarage Road". --DavidCane (talk) 21:41, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I think it's necessary to open a discussion (and eventually merger all other related discussions) about CSD and copyright problems (especially for songs' lyrics) within Wikipedia talk:Motto of the day. Nevermind. The section title was changed to "˙˙˙sıɥʇ llɐ ɹǝʇɟɐ)" and this change produced the ".CB.99.CB.99.CB.99s..." thing. –pjoef (talkcontribs) 23:36, 24 January 2012 (UTC)

Re: Viva la Vida

Sorry, but I cannot find it /o\... I'd say: do what you think is best to do. –pjoef (talkcontribs) 13:35, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Are you referring to the Plutus, Cupid, and Time "affair"? It's the only nomination with a suggested date. If this is correct, then it is not going to be approved so far, but I made a new version. IMHO, if it will be good enough for Valentine's Day, then we should move the motto for February 14 to the firt available date, and have the approved "love theme" for the 14th. Otherwise, and in any case, just do what you think is best for (you and) MotD. –pjoef (talkcontribs) 15:12, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
/o\ I really don't know! That question has not been addressed, and for now I'm not going to approve mottoes with quotes created after 2011-100=1911! ... but if you'll do it, then I will assume all responsibility for all aspects. I think we need to ask to Arbcom or something similar to solve this once and forever. –pjoef (talkcontribs) 16:39, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

What was the big issue about MOTD? Are you saying we might have to, God forbid, close it down because of copyright infringement and use of non-free lyrics, etc.? Belugaboycup of tea? 13:57, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

Template:Infobox London station

Hi, why did you renumber many of the entries in Template:Infobox London station? There is no harm in having gaps in the numeric sequence: indeed, this is encouraged by Template:Infobox#Number ranges.

I'm trying to work out an enhanced version of Template:Infobox closed London station which, when a station closes, will allow {{Infobox London station}} to be changed to {{Infobox closed London station}} with minimum loss of displayed information. As things stood, all the information in the |yearsn=|eventsn= disappeared straightaway, so a few days ago I added those to Template:Infobox closed London station. I decided that the best way of having them show similarly was to do a straight copy; but prior to doing this, I realised that new usage figures would soon be released which would need a renumbering of the rows. Not wishing the two infoboxes to get out of step quickly, I renumbered the yearsn/eventsn rows in Template:Infobox London station from 40-54 to 50-64, to create a largish gap in the sequence to facilitate the insertion of more usage rows. I also renumbered some of the later rows. I should have renumbered the original/pregroup/postgroup rows at the same time, but hadn't decided on their best positions, because Template:Infobox closed London station has some related parameters which belong with those, so although I could have renumbered them from 36-39 to 46-49, I didn't, just in case they needed further revision. --Redrose64 (talk) 10:54, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

I seem to have stopped |}} appearing at the start of each article and it seems that had crept in with your last edits.
