Proposed deletion of Elementary OS

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Elementary OS, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Hasn't received any media coverage, still under construction - Non-notable

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. —Magic.Wiki (talk) 17:57, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Elementary OS

[edit]

I have nominated Elementary OS, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Elementary OS. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. —Magic.Wiki (talk) 18:08, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Metroid: Other M, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -sesuPRIME talk • contribs 12:20, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

[edit]

On Talk:Nintendo DS#Merge you mentioned that The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is a DSi only game. However, that is incorrect. It may feature certain DSi only elements, but the game will very much be playable on the DS/DS Lite. Please see [1] for clarification. -Zomic13 (talk) 07:47, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free files in your user space

[edit]

Hey there Spazturtle, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:Spazturtle/firewiretemp. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

  • See a log of files removed today here.

Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 05:05, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Plates tect2 en.svg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of My Little Pony episodes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Cursive‎ does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Senator2029 (talk) 01:51, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wii U edits

[edit]

I've responded to you on the Wii U talk page. Also, for future reference, in cases like this, it helps to keep the information in the article so other people know what the heck we're arguing about, and can chime in and help determine consensus. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 12:49, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Transistor (video game), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mac (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Vandalism warning

[edit]

As per WP:DTR, please don't add vandalism templates to people's pages who aren't new. Especially not when the additions were, in fact, sourced facts that you don't like, because I guess you base your identity on what hardware you play games on so the existence of mainframe computers is threatening? --PresN 19:19, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
