Notice

The article Alexander Hartman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable tennis player, fails WP:NTENNIS, WP:NCOLLATH and WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi Iffy, thank you for your message and pointing out of the guidelines. As I am new I appreciate all the help. Considering the guidelines I must unfortunately agree with you in that the article does not comply and must be deleted. I trust you can do necessary. For interest sake I might have been misled by the article on Rasmus Jonasson, which article also seems to fall outside the guidelines. Thank you for your guidance.Tamolyn (talk) 13:18, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, an administrator will delete the article next week if nobody objects to the deletion. I'll take a look at the Rasmus Jonasson article now to see if it meets the guidelines. IffyChat -- 13:24, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Tamolyn,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Onel5969 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Henrik Andersson (tennis), for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Onel5969}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Nice job on these rugby articles. You need to take a look at WP:NTENNIS, however, to understand what make tennis players notable. Don't let it discourage you, your articles are well written, structured, and formatted. Keep up the good work.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Louis Moolman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kempton Park (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. @Onel5969:Hi. Thank you for the feedback and encouragement. Regarding one of your earlier suggestions – to add the articles to the rugby project. I had a look at the template and note it also contain the rating. I presume it is not for me to rate the articles. How do I deal with the rating part of the template?Tamolyn (talk) 11:19, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. First, keep up the good work. Then, yes, you can rate the articles yourself. If someone disagrees, they'll let you know. I'm not sure if each project has their own assessment criteria, but Rugby Union does, you can find it here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Rugby union/Assessment. I personally don't rate the articles, leaving it to the default class. I let the folks at the project take a look. Hope this helps.Onel5969 TT me 11:25, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Autopatrolled granted

[edit]

Hi Tamolyn, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Chetsford (talk) 03:42, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copying licensed material requires attribution

[edit]

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Christian Maasdorp you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 14:54, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
