Comment from User:COFS

[edit]

Hi. I saw that your "first edit ever" was to delete sourced reference material in the Ron DeWolf article. Please familiarize with Wikipedia policy (type WP:POL or WP:VAN in the search box) before removing content, thanks. COFS 04:03, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Your observations are party correct. My "first edit ever" was indeed to delete material in the Ron DeWolf article. However, the material source referenced did not support the statement that referenced it. That was the reason for removing the content. The statement has since been edited accurately to support the original referenced source material. I am familiar with all of the WIkipedia policies that you have mentioned, and was so before making my "first edit ever". Thank you.TheWikiWiki 19:57, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

2nd Warning

[edit]

Please do not delete content from articles on Wikipedia, as you did to Ron DeWolf. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. Thank you.

Deleting content on Wikipeida is one of many forms of legitimate editing that I am entitled to participate in, including the Ron DeWolf article. I don't care what your opinion is of the constructive value of my edits. If you'd like to make a valid criticism about any of my edits, then make it. Please do so with actual content, and not your hollow opinions. Thank you. TheWikiWiki 19:50, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you are running a WP:SPA you also should read WP:SOCK. If not, do not. COFS 16:53, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • These warnings are inappropriate. The user "TheWikiWiki" is clearly using detailed edit summaries to explain him/herself, and these are good faith edits, and not vandalism. Smee 21:13, 8 June 2007 (UTC).[reply]

"TheWikiWiki" seems to be a WP:SPA and thus "good faith" can be excluded. COFS 02:27, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Being that this was my first edit, the accusation that I am a WP:SPA has no validity whatsoever. Perhaps you should seek out every new Wikipedia member with only one existing edit, and paint a series of corners for them too. TheWikiWiki 19:50, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NPA warning no 1 of the day. Read your own refs. COFS 02:30, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Note to other editors reading "warnings"

[edit]

Additional note for other editors: Smee tries to pull you in her personal matters. Anyone willing to put an end to this ridiculous WP:OWN game is invited as the resulting edit wars have not done good for Wikipedia. COFS 02:39, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have said my piece. Now I am the one being baited with WP:NPA, so I will take this talk page off of my watchlist as well. The Checkuser case above says it all. Thank you for your time, whoever reads this. Yours, Smee 02:45, 9 June 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Bye. COFS 02:52, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
