So the list follows Clements, who doesn't recognize the Apodiformes, and puts swifts in the Caprimulgiformes as indicated.....Pvmoutside (talk) 20:36, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, so why does the list follow Clements but none of the other pages do? Again, Alpine swift, Common swift, Pallid swift, and Little swift all list the order as Apodiformes, while the Caprimulgiformes page does not mention swifts at all. It's a rather jarring lack of consistency. Viruk42 (talk) 20:51, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Any country list that follows Clements should be corrected, although I'm guessing it may be corrected with the next update which comes in a month. Taxonomy follows the IOC which lists swifts as Apodiformes... Pvmoutside (talk) 00:39, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
