Concerning your recent edit in Modernism changing Late Modernism to Late modernism or rather a blue live link to an article; to a red dead link. It's actually causing harm, because the live links between articles are important. Please be aware. Thank you...Modernist (talk) 21:15, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You're absolutely right, of course. Most of the time the internal links don't behave case-senstitively, and I try to catch the few that do. I simply missed this one and have corrected it so that the list reads with correct capitalization but the link is still live. I haven't figured out yet why some links do this and most don't, so if you know and can fill me in I'm sure it will help me catch such errors in the future. Thanks for the help! DEFAULTSORT

Do not add a blank value for DEFAULTSORT as you did at Black Peak (Washington) and Lincoln Peak (Washington). That is the worst thing one can do for sort values. Unless it is a person, an article usually has no DEFAULTSORT at all. Bgwhite (talk) 04:48, 20 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the template as it brought nothing to the article. All the information nested therein was also in the categories. That template is of no great use, it's not in Robin Williams, Bill Engvall... other comedians. If there is a {{:comedians}} template or a {{:Norwegian-Americans}} template, or something that has actually to do with him, that would better serve the article.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 10:22, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

2019 US Banknote Contest

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

Hello. I've noticed that you've been creating articles about American politicians but used DMY as the date format in citations.
