Edit summaries

[edit]

Please make sure that your edit summaries accurately reflect what your edits are doing; for example, don't give the edit summary "fixed typo" for an edit which does things other than correcting a typographical error. JBW (talk) 21:46, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Block

[edit]
Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistent unconstructive editing. A significant number of your edits have clearly been vandalism, and despite being warned you have continued to use edit summaries which misrepresent what you are doing, such as "Fixed typo" for edits which don't fix typoes but make significant changes to article content, and "Added content" for edits which don't add content. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  JBW (talk) 14:59, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Despite the messages above and a block from editing for a short time, you have persisted in using edit summaries which misrepresent what you are doing, most commonly "fixed typo" for edits which don't fix typoes. I have therefore blocked you indefinitely from editing. If you are willing to undertake to give proper edit summaries in future, and if you think that you will edit in ways which are beneficial to Wikipedia, you may appeal this block by first reading guide to appealing blocks and then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of this page, replacing "Your reason here" with appropriate text.
