Marcia Hermansen moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Marcia Hermansen, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:A Door to the Sky

[edit]

Hello, Zaynab1418. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "A Door to the Sky".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 17:55, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from List of tafsir works into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. If you check the history of English translations of the Quran, I've added the attribution this time for you! Thanks, /wiae /tlk 19:41, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, you've recently made editions to this article and changed the date format. This article follows day-month-year format and in addition, the one you inserted is not a desired date format. --Egeymi (talk) 18:46, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Fatima Seedat (Islamic scholar)

[edit]

Hello, Zaynab1418, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Dr vulpes, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Fatima Seedat (Islamic scholar), should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fatima Seedat (Islamic scholar).

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dr vulpes}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Zikri article

[edit]

Do you have any reply to Zikri talk page? As far as I can tell you have reverted all my edits wholesale back to your version -- notwithstanding your claims about "reads like a personal essay", not "deferring to the most reliable sources", "grammatical errors", "repetitive", "not chronological". --Louis P. Boog (talk) 16:49, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I replied to you and made significant changes. Tell me if you're happy with it now. I do not think we should rely on less reliable sources like "adherants.com" that make mistakes in who they believe their Mahdi is. We know from the most reputable sources it is Nur Pak. Adding a large number of theories is original research and many sources on Zikris online make significant errors in their beliefs and origins. Zaynab1418 (talk) 18:26, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure what you are talking about. See Talk:Zikrism#Replies --Louis P. Boog (talk) 17:27, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
