Very blatant failure of WP:GNG, a web search reveals one (1) "passable" secondary source. I'd love to pretend this guy meets WP:NHOCKEY based on winning rookie of the year in the CHL, but I don't have the heart for that. IceBergYYC (talk) 10:13, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Delete: Good grief; we're talking an undistinguished college player who played just two professional seasons, most in the low minors. Complete failure of the GNG and of NHOCKEY. (Unsurprising that this is another of Dolovis' old page creations.) Ravenswing 17:49, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Keep- I found this [1][2][3] and also awarded withTerry Flanagan Memorial Award see[4]and also winner of Hobey Baker Award see[5]Epcc12345 (talk) 06:48, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
He did not win the Hobey Baker, if you read the source you linked in [5] you would see it is talking about him being presented with the Terry Flanagan. Reference [4] is directly from his school, and does not build notability. Number [3] is from oursportscentral, which is a website that amalgamates publications directly from sports teams, in that sources case, being a news release from his ECHL team the Reading Royals, (again not building notability). Source [2] is the one I found and mentioned in my original AfD statement, its passable. Clicking on the authors name for [1] shows that the author is a paid employee of the college lewicki played for, again likely not applicable for building notability. Delete. College players or career minor leaguers are never notable unless they at some point played in a top-tier professional league or had significant media coverage or importance outside of the sport itself. —Notorious4life (talk) 04:10, 11 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
