Albert Mampre

Albert Mampre was a World War II member of Easy Company (aka the Band of Brothers); however, he was not mentioned in the history by Steven Ambrose or featured in the resulting TV series. Keep - I see plenty of attention in news articles (also called "Al Mampre"); veterans of Easy Company became celebrities, those that were still alive after Saving Private Ryan in 1998 and Band of Brothers (the book in 1993, the miniseries in 2001) even more so. Comment: Under WP:SOLDIER, all; in practical terms, deleting some (such as Richard Winters) would probably be a hard sell.--Jim in Georgia Contribs Talk 15:48, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete as per above, membership of a regiment is not mentioned as a valid criterion for notability in WP:SOLDIER. Also, the references are all from one publisher which makes the article difficult to independently verify. DrStrauss talk 11:37, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
