The result was Userfy to User:Damon.cluck/Bibliography of Arkansas National Guard History per consensus and author request. Moving to the Wikipedia space (under WP:MILHIST or WP:ARKANSAS) may also be an option; I leave that to Damon.cluck. UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 14:40, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a directory to various sources, nor is it a collection of links and book titles. Fiftytwo thirty (talk) 21:54, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Arkansas National Guard and Militia History Roundtable is a group of currently serving and retired members of the Arkansas National Guard, chartered by the State Military Department to assist the State Command Historian with efforts to document unit histories; assisting in digitizing existing unit histories and making them available on-line and support publication of Arkansas National Guard and Militia History related articles and books. We have been working to improve various Wikipedia Articles on the Arkansas Army National Guard and it's various units. As a part of this mission, many of our members have asked for Bibliography of Arkansas National Guard history materials. The thought process was to use this Wikipedia article to assist in compiling a list of source material. Most of the material being added has been or will be cited to some extent in the following existing Wikipedia Articles:
Additionally, the intent is many cases is to provide a summary of the relevant information, comment on the relative credibility of the sources, and in many cases, where the item may be out of print or of limited availability, provide information on how to physically find the source.
We believe this would be an invaluable resourse for those of us working on Arkansas Military History topics. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Damon.cluck (talk • contribs)
- Userfy to the userspace of User:Damon.cluck or anyone else who is willing to take this in. If editors are actually planning to use this list as a guide to find sources for content they are creating, then I can accept storing it on Wikipedia in userspace. However, it should not be an independent article in the main space, per the nom. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 22:38, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Userfy: not an encyclopedic article. Storing resources for article improvement is why userspace exists. bahamut0013wordsdeeds 19:30, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Userfy per above, or move to a project talk page, since it would be a group user page of some sort. A bibliography can be a wonderful addition to an article, but as pointed out it is not its own article. Although it may seem like six vs. half a dozen, I don't want to encourage the creation of articles called "Bibliography of ________" Mandsford 22:57, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Userfy or alternately move it to the right place, the AR ANG page itself. Buckshot06 (talk) 05:58, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Userfy or delete, it is mostly a list of links. Armbrust Talk Contribs 00:30, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It sounds like the consences is Userfy, I will be out of pocket when the time is up on this proposed deletion, so will some one move it to my userspace or am I responsible for that. If I am responsible for it, when can I make the move?Damon.cluck (talk) 13:08, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
