This is an unsourced article about a non-notable martial art. The article doesn't even say anything about the art, except that legend says it was created by water sprites. Papaursa (talk) 00:31, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete per nom. GregJackP Boomer! 01:51, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. A Google book search finds enough sources to establish notability. The article on the Japanese Wikipedia gives lots of background. --Lambiam 02:01, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment The term is exclusively used within the Neo-Ninja community and has no weight outside that. The link to water spirits mentioned above was for bone setting not breaking. The imps loved Sumo wrestling is all it says about the martial arts.Peter Rehse (talk) 06:36, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: Can someone translate the Japanese language article? Bearian (talk) 17:20, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I tried several translation programs, none of which did a very good job on the Japanese article. However, it did seem to say that this was a secret art passed down from generation to generation and none of the sources appear to independently show significant coverage. I still don't see notability or good sources, but I'll defer if someone fluent in Japanese can show me the error of my ways. Papaursa (talk) 23:50, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I don't buy the argument that the Google Book search results work. Most of those are mentions in passim. Unless someone can find and add good sources, soon, I am all for deletion of this article. Bearian (talk) 23:56, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete The above Google book search has only results from the Neo-Ninja community (Hatsumi, Hayes). There have been no independent reliable sources found. jmcw (talk) 00:11, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
