Marginal sports figure; don't think he meets the minimums. Orange Mike | Talk 05:37, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
WeakDelete. There's some coverage there but it's all basically about the same single story - him leaving prison and "fighting" to make the Australian Olympic Team (which it doesn't seem he did). He apparently won a Commonwealth Games gold medal which might ordinarily allow him to meet WP:ATHLETE (at least, winning an individual CG gold is an inclusion criteria for a number of other sports) but I can't find anything to verify that. The rest is really wishy-washy stuff. I might try to clean it up a bit, but at the moment, I don't think the subject meets our inclusion guidelines. Stalwart111 07:12, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Had a crack at cleaning it up. Not sure it's enough to justify keeping it but I thought it would be worth at least considering it in a cleaned up, clarified form. Stalwart111 07:32, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete It wasn't a Commonwealth Games gold medal, it was a 2012 Commonwealth Judo Masters 100kg gold medal. --99of9 (talk) 08:26, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Ha! I was wondering why I couldn't find it anywhere in the Commonwealth Games records! I assumed it was the usual Australian short-hand for the games themselves, rather than some other Commonwealth competition. Silly me - that explains it! Thanks for clarifying 99of9! I don't think that confers notability - have removed the "weak" from my !vote above. Stalwart111 08:35, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete He didn't come close to making the London Olympics--the IJF rankings shows he didn't earn a single ranking point (unlike about 200 of his peers). His 3rd place at the Small States of Europe games (representing Malta) apparently was out of 3 competitors. 204.126.132.231 (talk) 16:41, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per all above. ThemFromSpace 16:20, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
