I'm struggling to determine why this person is notable enough for inclusion. It was originally prodded but it was removed with the reason " notability established by 3rd party coverage". There is only one link, not really a reference (the other two where dead and I have no idea what they contained.) I find some references to this person on some other pro-Irish Republican sites, but nothing of real noteworthyness. I'm not spotting other news stories of significant coverage. - Delete. No significant coverage in reliable sources other than for one event. Strong WP:BLP concerns weigh in favour of deletion: I just removed uncited perjorative coverage of the subject from the article, and it seems that event is all he is really known for (ie a WP:BLP1E). --Mkativerata (talk) 00:20, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep per The New York Times[1], The Times[2] and this book published by Palgrave Macmillan, which do not all describe the same event. Phil Bridger (talk) 23:08, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so consensus may be reached.

- Keep per sources found by Phil Bridger - the book seems to indicate he is important, so there are probably more sources offline, but even these online ones pass WP:GNG, and WP:BLP1E is not a concern given that there are 3 separate events discussed here. --Joshua Scott (LiberalFascist) 06:17, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
