The world may be "moving towards a new reality" about this article... Other than short mentions among other people in a few news articles, the only possible indicators of notability are the Randi prize (that is basically a trout from a skeptic about something that year) and about three pages of independent coverage in Guesses, Goofs & Prophetic Failures: What to Think When the World Doesn't End.
