File:Fiver Lower Towns.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Natty4bumpo (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

This file, an undated map of part of the Tennessee River valley, is an image copied from "Dead website." (That's what it says.) Could be inaccurate, could be copyvio, and given its obscure origins — who knows? ob C. alias ALAROB 00:43, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. The claim that "no free equivalent is available or could be created that would adequately give the same information" is absurd, as anyone could easily draw a sketch map showing the relevant information. I am also doubtful whether the use falls under the provisions of "fair use" in US copyright law, and since "dead website" is not enough to identify its source, we really cannot tell what its copyright status is. Considering that it would be perfectly easy for anyone to create a replacement and either license it under a CC license or release it into the public domain, there is no need to keep this file of dubious copyright status. • Tagged as "no source" and "replaceable". See WP:NFC#UUI §4. See also WP:NFCC#10c about the file usage in one of the articles. --Stefan2 (talk) 16:18, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File:Annoying Orange Characters.png (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by The Lovable Wolf (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

Image fails WP:NFCC#8 and WP:NFCC#3. The article on The Annoying Orange includes the logo/screenshot File:Annoying-orange-logo.png which includes the whole cast. There is no need for both, and this one additionally fails WP:NFCC#8. TLSuda (talk) 18:13, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
