Keep: The file File:Kannan Nair MV 2013 VJT Hall.jpg is used in theatre adaptations section of Marthandavarma (novel), to indicate the stage performance of the titular character of the novel as well as the play. The inclusion further helps the readers to identify the contemporary stage adaptation of the subject of main article, as well as the variance in television adaptation of the same play, in which the same actor enacted the same role, the topic related to which is also part of the main section Adaptations. The need of usage of image in the article is also given in the modified image description, just prior to this nomination. So, the motive of nominator is in question, whether he/she shall keep any dislike towards the up-loader, or the up-loader's edits; as the nominator did not bother answer to the queries on how to improve the file description prior to this nomination, and on a check now—it seems like the nominator has tagged all the images by this up-loader to be deleted one way or another, and order of nomination also supports the same. If this is not the case then this shall be some sort of Wikisomethingelse. The inclusion of image in the article is significant to make the user/reader to identify the variance of adaptations, hence Keep.—(harith·discuss) 10:48, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not true. The first part (significantly increasing the understanding of the article) is usually met, but the second part (its omission being detrimental to that understanding) is usually not met. In this case, it is perfectly possible to understand the section without a non-free image in the section, so omitting the image wouldn't be detrimental to the understanding of the section.
