I have switched to using CC Attrib license for this image. I hope this addresses the PUF issue for this image.

I am also using the same CC Atrib license for the following files that I also uploaded on the same day.

This photograph appears to have been taken from the flight deck of the Australian carrier HMAS Melbourne. It seems unlikely then that it was taken by an employee of the USN, as is claimed in the image license tag. More information about its source needs to be provided to confirm that it really is what it is claimed to be, otherwise I regret (because it is a good image) that the image should be deleted. I note that the uploader was given an indefinite block in 2006 for irregularities in using the Commons, plus his user page is littered with copy vio warnings on numerous images. - The image was indeed from the HMAS Melbourne. This image appears at the Fleet Air Arm Association of Australia web site. I don't know where they got it from. -- Whpq (talk) 19:07, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

On the Picture Gallery - Helicopters page, the web site states: We acknowledge and thank the RAN and HMAS Albatross for many of these photographs. In the absence of any conclusive evidence (or any evidence at all) that the image is free of copyright restrictions, I think we have to delete it. - Nick Thorne ^talk 22:20, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I note that the URL for the photo on the FAAAOA web site has been added as a source. We have no way of knowing if this actually was the original source for the image, but assuming it was, then that changes nothing. There is no information on that site releasing any of its images and indeed it implies that the imageas are used with permission - ie the copyright belongs to someone else.
