I started digging into this, and it goes back years. So, filing an SPI to get more eyes on this cleanup. Courcelles (talk) 17:24, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

These are all already confirmed, and I’ve done some cleanup and protections. But, again, I think it needs more eyes. Courcelles (talk) 17:25, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is one more account that has been locked and hidden, not listed above. @AmandaNP, courtesy ping since you looked through the Xwiki loginwiki stuff. Courcelles (talk) 17:28, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ya the xwiki look through didn't show enough of an issue that regular global action is needed, but if anyone sees something I missed or new information comes to light, feel free to request action. -- Amanda (she/her) 17:36, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

New account, recreation of EC-protected NetReputation at NetReputation (company), now moved to draft. User talk posts bear strong similarities to User:Paranoya23, along with the stilted grammar and overlap with Paranoya23's edits on other articles. Blocked as obvious sock as above; same article, same sources, same incoherent grammar and circular requests, overlap on other low volume articles where the socks were active. May be worth a checkuser sweep considering the prior history and the fact that this account was created s few days after the last farm was cleared out. At User talk:David Gerard they state: "It's "Antonio Vinzaretti". Robby.is.on (talk) 18:01, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Brand new account focused on Bitget right after the last round of shenanigans with Antonio Vinzaretti. Heading toward a RGW block anyway but seems way too familiar for a new user. Star Mississippi 14:22, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Looks Red X Unrelated, and I'll note that unlike previous accounts who made an overly promotional draft, Genarogatti's version is an attack page, which I unfortunately missed prior to running a check. See also User:Genarogatti. DatGuyTalkContribs 14:33, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm not entirely convinced that there's no connection here: both versions are relatively critical, and there are similarities in language usage (compare [1] with AV's comments here). But I don't think the fairly limited evidence is enough to override a negative CU result, so closing without action. Feel free to block on non-sockpuppetry grounds if problems continue. High confidence behavioral match against previous socks. I'm not going to elaborate on-wiki.

By the way, Genarogatti was an obvious sock and had the same distinctive behavior. They later recreated Wowcube, which I blocked them for. Wowcube and Spacebit are both Wikibusines articles. MER-C 11:41, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Possilikely (a mix between possible and likely), blocking based on obvious behaviour. I also ran Genarogatti from the archive and I'm not sure why they were called unrelated; I'd call them very  Likely. Additionally, these are  Confirmed to Antonio Vinzaretti:

Closing. Thanks, Spicy (talk) 23:04, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User 0dd b1t was locked earlier today by EPIC as Papa2004's sock.--A09|(talk) 12:38, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not seeing a behavioral match. I recall seeing this abuse pattern somewhere before but I couldn't find anything in my block log or the SPIs I have filed since last year. MER-C 14:54, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
